Disney’s ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ Gets December 2018 Release Date.

Emily Blunt is set to star in the Rob Marshall-directed film officially titled, Mary Poppins Returns.

Disney has formally announced that the Mary Poppins sequel will open on Dec. 25, 2018, more than five decades after the 1964 classic film first played in theatres.

Rob Marshall is directing an adapted script by David Magee, as well as producing alongside Marc Platt and John DeLuca.

A never heard before score will be produced by composer Marc Shaiman; where Shaiman and Scott Wittman are collaborating in composing the all-new original pieces.

Keeping true to the original Julie Andrews version,  the story will take place in Depression-era London, where a now grown-up Jane and Michael Banks, along with Michael’s trio of children, are visited by their former enchanting nanny following a tragedy in the family.

So what do you think, is this new Super-cali-fragil-istic-expi-ali-docious? Or does in need a spoon full of sugar?  (NO, I’m not even remotely sorry for making that joke.)
