The invisible jet has always been deemed a tad goofy, if not flying-condom-esque.
However, it remains beloved by Wonder Woman‘s legion of fans. And many have wondered how director Patty Jenkins would tackle the classic silhouette. The quick answer is, she won’t.

Speaking with People, DC Entertainment president Diane Nelson had this to say about getting rid of Wonder Woman‘s ride, revealing that it has to do with the more serious tone of the film.
“[Wonder Woman] will have its own tone and look – it’s beautiful. There is humor in it, there is real emotion in Diana’s journey in discovering the complexity of man. There is no invisible jet. Not in this iteration.”
The jet has been a staple of the DC Comics for a very long time. And dates back to the earliest issues from William Moulton Marston.
No official plot abstract has been issued for Wonder Woman as of yet. The movie is said to span three different time periods, with a great deal of the movie taking place during World War I, which is Pre-Nazi era, unlike the original Tv show.
With a very mixed fan reaction, Gal Gadot reprises her role as Diana Prince after first being introduced in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice earlier this year.
It isn’t currently known if any other characters from Batman V Superman will be dropping in for a cameo, but it’s believed that per DC tradition Batman will arrive in the third act to welcome her to Justice League, the next DC Comics movie to follow later next year.
